Fascial Connections focuses on the rotational restrictions and introduces Fascial Energy Activation (FEA). In this seminar, participants will:

  • learn to evaluate postural alignment and tissue texture from a myofascial perspective,
  • find & connect with fascial restrictions,
  • feel barriers and apply proper pressure to achieve tissue release.

The focus is directed both at learning the technique of Myofascial Release (MFR) and how to apply this technique for maximum effectiveness. Advanced techniques are taught with focus on the rotational component and FEA techniques.

Sports Massage: Shoulder Injuries & Dysfunction (16 CEHs)

Join Sharon Oshita, CMT ATC, in Las Vegas, NV, in adding techniques to your practice’s toolbox: Sports Massage: Shoulder Injuries & Dysfunction (16 CEHs)

This comprehensive class will cover many aspects of what to consider when clients complain of shoulder discomfort. An Attendee will:

  • improve confidence in working with these clients,
  • be able to clarify what “sports massage” is, including evaluation steps with special tests,
  • understand tissue healing and proper use of ice and heat,
  • learn pathologies of common injuries/conditions and the common modes of mechanism of injury in sports.

Attendees will participate in a hands-on lab for palpation and working the shoulder complex. In-class exercises utilizing working case studies will be implemented, to put the Attendees’ knowledge to use in real-time.
